Motor vehicles used for snow and ice removal on roadways may display green warning lights in addition to the required amber lights when engaged in hazardous traffic operations

Eligible vehicles include those owned and operated by the State, bi-state or interstate governmental agencies, local government units, or contracted by the Department of Transportation for snow/ice removal

Green lights may only be displayed when the vehicle presents a traffic hazard requiring unusual care and must be shown simultaneously with amber warning lights

Authorization falls under Department of Transportation authority without requiring an additional permit from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission

Updates statutory language to replace "Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles" with "Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission" throughout relevant sections
