Establishes a legislative internship program where members of the Legislature may employ interns with approval from the presiding officer of their House

Program eligibility is limited to full-time or part-time students at accredited higher education institutions in undergraduate or graduate programs, excluding juris doctorate and PhD programs

Priority for the program is given to New Jersey residents or students attending New Jersey institutions of higher education

Interns must complete one work period at a legislator's district office, with the option to continue for additional work periods if both the legislator and intern agree

The Legislature, with assistance from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, shall apply for federal grant funds including the federal "On-the-Job Training" program under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to fund the program
