Public institutions of higher education in New Jersey must post a syllabus for each undergraduate course offered for academic credit on their website

Each syllabus must include a brief description of major course requirements, assignments, and examinations; titles and authors of required or recommended reading; and a general description of subject matter for each lecture or class

Syllabi must be posted no later than 7 days before the first day of the course registration period for that semester

The requirement takes effect immediately and applies beginning with the first full academic year after enactment
