Mandates the Attorney General to defend, at no cost to the municipality, any civil lawsuit challenging a municipal ordinance that is identical to the state's model ordinance

Addresses the funding gap faced by municipalities that have passed sex offender residency restrictions near schools, child care centers, and areas where children gather but lack resources to defend legal challenges
