Extends military service credit for compensation purposes to non-certificated school district employees (those without teaching certificates), matching benefits already provided to teaching staff members under current law

Applies to employees hired on or after the bill's effective date who served in active U.S. or New Jersey military or naval service after July 1, 1940, including women's army corps and naval reserve

Grants equivalent years of employment credit for military service time, as if the employee had been working in the school district during that period

Caps the military service credit at no more than four employment or adjustment increments

Does not reduce any leave of absence benefits employees may already be entitled to under existing laws or regulations
