Allows licensed master plumbers to replace electric water heaters with similar units not exceeding 240 volts without obtaining an electrical contractor business permit, provided the disconnecting means is at the load side of the distribution board or service disconnect within sight of the equipment

Permits licensed master plumbers to replace service disconnects and whips for replacement air conditioning condensing units not exceeding 240 volts with similar size and voltage requirements without an electrical business permit

Amends the existing electrical contractor licensing law (P.L.1962, c.162) to expand the list of exempted electrical work that does not require a business permit

Takes effect on the first day of the fourth month following enactment and applies only to contracts initiated on or after the effective date
