Aligns New Jersey law with recent federal rule changes that permit one-time transfers of Schedule II-V controlled substance prescriptions between licensed pharmacies at patient request

Expands existing state law that already permits transfers of Schedule III-V controlled substances to now include Schedule II substances specifically for ADHD treatment

Eliminates the current requirement for patients to obtain a new prescription from their healthcare provider when their pharmacy cannot fill an ADHD medication

Takes effect 60 days after enactment
