Mandates programs provide education on tactics of power and control, framing domestic violence as a domination and control issue

Establishes protocols for documenting defendant attendance and reporting to courts to enable prompt review of noncompliance

Requires the New Jersey Department of Children and Families to conduct regular reviews of Batterers' Intervention Programs that receive departmental funding

Takes effect on the first day of the third month following enactment and implements Recommendation #28 from the June 2023 Reconvened Joint Committee on Criminal Justice report
