Expands the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry from 9 professional members to 11, adding one dental assistant position to the existing board composition of dentists and one dental hygienist

Requires both the dental hygienist and the new dental assistant board members to hold at minimum a baccalaureate degree and have resided and practiced or been employed in New Jersey for at least 10 years prior to appointment

Directs the Governor to consider recommendations from the New Jersey Dental Association, Dental Hygienists' Association, and Dental Assistants Association when making appointments, though the Governor is not bound by these recommendations

Maintains the existing 4-year term for board members and repeals section 10 of P.L.2007, c.259 while incorporating its provisions into the amended statute
