Allows price differences based on gender-neutral factors such as labor, materials, tariffs, or manufacturer-set pricing beyond the retailer's control

Requires tailors, hair salons/barbers, and dry cleaners to post visible price lists in at least 14-point boldface type and display signs notifying customers that gender-based price discrimination is prohibited under New Jersey law

Violations constitute unlawful practices under the consumer fraud act, punishable by up to $10,000 for a first offense and $20,000 for subsequent offenses, plus potential cease and desist orders, punitive damages, and treble damages
