Extends the authorization period for family support services (agency-hired, agency-weekend, and self-hired respite care) for individuals under 21 with developmental disabilities from 90 days to 12 months

Requires the Division of Children's System of Care to provide families with a separate bank of respite care service hours in addition to other family support service hours they are eligible to receive

Establishes an annual reevaluation process to assess service needs, frequency of access, and outcomes, replacing the current annual reapplication requirement

Prohibits the division from reducing authorized respite care service hours during the 12-month authorization period

Allows families to remain with their current service agency after reevaluation if they choose
