Establishes mandatory continuing competence and professional development requirements for occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants to renew their licenses

Expands the definition of occupational therapy services to include emerging practice areas such as parental health, women's health, pelvic health, LGBTQIA+ issues, sports and concussion management, and population health management

Requires licensure examinations to be administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or other nationally recognized certification agency, rather than being state-administered

Eliminates the requirement for applicants to submit proof of supervised fieldwork experience directly to the director, as this is now verified through standardized accreditation requirements

Increases Occupational Therapy Advisory Council member term limits from two to three consecutive terms and requires the council to meet at least four times annually instead of twice
