Adds a new category of excuse from jury service for students temporarily residing outside New Jersey while enrolled in out-of-state secondary, post-secondary, vocational, graduate, or professional education programs

Requires students seeking this excuse to provide proof of temporary out-of-state residency for educational purposes, with acceptable documentation standards to be determined by the New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts

Amends N.J.S.2B:20-10, which currently allows jury service excuses for reasons including age 75+, recent jury service, severe hardship, volunteer firefighters, and first aid/rescue squad volunteers

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
