Division of Aging Services must establish a voluntary central registry for New Jersey residents aged 65 and older, collecting name, date of birth, address, income level, and contact information

Registry information will be used for compiling statistics on senior citizens, conducting wellness check calls during emergencies, and sharing information about services like NJ SAVE and local Area Agencies on Aging

Registrants may request removal from the registry at any time, with the Commissioner required to wait 21 days before destroying all associated records

All registry information is confidential, exempt from public records laws, and may only be shared with designated agencies for purposes outlined in the act

Division must conduct a statewide multimedia public awareness campaign in English and Spanish targeting individuals aged 64 and older; the act takes effect 90 days after enactment
