Extends New Jersey's existing affordable housing preference for U.S. veterans to South Korean military veterans who served in the Vietnam conflict as allies to the United States and are now citizens and residents of New Jersey

Expands the definitions of "veteran" and "disabled veteran" in housing statutes to include qualifying South Korean Vietnam War veterans, with disability status determined by the South Korean equivalent of the U.S. Veterans Administration

Provides affordable housing preferences to surviving spouses of deceased South Korean veterans who served in Vietnam and were New Jersey citizens/residents at death, as well as family members serving as primary caregivers to disabled South Korean veterans

Applies to affordable housing financed by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, public housing authorities, county improvement authorities, redevelopment agencies, and the Department of Community Affairs

Takes effect on the first day of the third month following enactment, with the Adjutant General of the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs responsible for determining eligibility and making status determinations for applicants
