Crisis pregnancy centers must conspicuously post signage in English and Spanish disclosing that they are not licensed health care facilities and whether they employ a physician on-site to supervise pregnancy-related services

Required disclosures apply to physical locations (waiting areas, examination rooms, counseling rooms) and all advertising including newspapers, radio, internet, pamphlets, and posters

"Crisis pregnancy center" is defined as a nonprofit facility providing pregnancy counseling that does not refer for abortion services, particularly those that present a medical appearance through uniforms, health information collection, or medical equipment

The Director of Consumer Affairs will develop guidelines and signage templates for compliance with the disclosure requirements

Violations are subject to Consumer Fraud Act remedies and penalties, and the Attorney General may seek injunctions prohibiting non-compliant centers from advertising, providing services, or operating
