Requires employers to reinstate physicians to their prior position after PTSD-related leave once fitness to return is documented by a licensed physician or mental health professional (not the employee themselves)

PTSD qualifies for protection if diagnosed by a licensed professional and arose from experiencing or witnessing trauma during job duties, or from vicarious trauma related to work

Allows employees to file civil lawsuits within one year of violations, with remedies including civil fines of $5,000 for first violations and $10,000 for subsequent violations, reinstatement, back pay, and attorney's fees

Establishes the "New Jersey Physicians Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Protection Act" to protect licensed physicians employed by healthcare entities
