Mandates additional credits based on the number of licenses held: 24 total credits for one license, 38 total credits for two licenses, or 52 total credits for three licenses, with burglar alarm licensees required to complete 3 credits specifically on smoke detection systems

Allows licensees to earn credits through approved courses, teaching new programs, authoring textbooks (5 credits each, max 10 per period), or publishing articles (2 credits each, max 6 per period), with no more than 10 credits per license from online or self-study courses

Requires continuing education sponsors to obtain committee approval before offering courses, submit detailed course descriptions and instructor qualifications at least 60 days in advance, monitor attendance, and maintain records for six years

Permits the committee to waive continuing education requirements for individual hardship cases such as severe illness, disability, or military service upon written application at least 90 days before license renewal
