Amends R.S.37:1-13 to add deputy county clerks and municipal clerks to the list of officials authorized to solemnize marriages and civil unions in New Jersey

County clerks were already authorized to perform marriages; this expansion allows their deputies and municipal clerks to also officiate ceremonies

The bill reorganizes the existing statute into a numbered list format while retaining all previously authorized officiants, including various federal and state judges, surrogates, mayors, clergy, and certified civil celebrants

Religious societies, institutions, and organizations retain their authority to perform marriages and civil unions according to their own rules and customs
