County prosecutors must submit annual written reports to the Attorney General containing data on plea agreement negotiations for crimes involving controlled dangerous substances

Reports must include plea offers extended, whether defendants accepted or rejected offers, whether courts entered or rejected plea agreements, and the type and quantity of controlled substances involved

The Attorney General must compile the data from all county prosecutors and submit an annual report to the Legislature

This requirement supplements existing reporting obligations for county prosecutors on criminal case dispositions and the Attorney General's existing data collection on plea agreements for indictable offenses
