Prohibits in-person customer interactions at remote locations and bars licensees from designating remote locations as business addresses, unless their professional board specifically permits otherwise

Requires licensees working remotely to maintain data security safeguards including secure VPNs, implement risk-based monitoring of remote work, and keep records of oversight processes

Mandates that consumer information and records not be stored at remote locations while ensuring such records remain accessible for regulatory oversight and examinations

Applies to licensees under professional boards specified in Title 45 and individuals licensed under chapter 11C of Title 17 (insurance producers), taking effect 180 days after enactment
