Authorizes licensed acupuncturists to order and take x-rays, order bioanalytical laboratory tests, perform reagent strip tests and hormone saliva tests, and order diagnostic imaging such as CT scans, MRIs, and bone scans

Creates "expanded practice" certification allowing acupuncturists to prescribe, administer, inject, compound, and dispense homeopathic medicines, sterile water, saline solution, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, ozone, procaine, lidocaine, and herbal extracts

Establishes certification modules for basic injection therapy, injection therapy, intravenous therapy, and bioidentical hormone therapy for licensed acupuncturists

Grandfathers previously licensed acupuncturists into expanded practice certification if they have received certification from the Acupuncture Examining Board or the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

Takes effect on the first day of the tenth month following enactment, applying to new licensure applications and renewals from that date forward
