Requires public school governing bodies (school districts, charter schools, renaissance school projects) to verify employment eligibility of all new teaching staff members and school employees through the federal E-Verify program starting the first full school year after enactment

Mandates annual E-Verify verification of employment eligibility for all existing teaching staff members and school employees

Directs the Commissioner of Education to provide information about E-Verify requirements to all public school governing bodies and publish this information on the Department of Education's website

Preserves the ability of public schools to hire noncitizen teachers who hold valid limited certificates issued by the State Board of Examiners under existing state law
