Public electric vehicle charging station owners and operators must display the price per kilowatt-hour on a physical sign at the point of sale

Price displays must be clearly visible to consumers, legible in both daylight and nighttime conditions, and updated in real-time or as soon as practicable

Any additional fees beyond the per-kilowatt-hour price must be clearly itemized and displayed at the point of sale

Violations carry a civil penalty of up to $250 per day the violation continues

The law takes effect 180 days after enactment
