Mandates dialysis centers develop and maintain written policies on support person access that must be posted visibly in the facility and made available upon request to patients, families, and the public

Requires all relevant dialysis center staff to receive training on the act's requirements and facility policies regarding support person access

Authorizes the Department of Health to oversee compliance, investigate complaints from patients denied access to support persons, and impose penalties, fines, or corrective action orders on non-compliant facilities
