Creates the Volunteer First Responders Loan Redemption Program to help pay off student loans for volunteer firefighters, first aid/rescue/ambulance squad members, and Office of Emergency Management volunteers

Provides up to $6,000 in total loan redemption, distributed as $2,000 per year during the second, third, and fourth years of volunteer service after graduation (no benefit in the first year)

Requires volunteer firefighters to respond to at least 60% of regular alarms and drills and obtain Division of Fire Safety certification; other emergency responders must complete a minimum of 500 volunteer hours annually

Applicants must be New Jersey residents who completed an undergraduate degree or certificate program at an in-state institution after the bill's effective date

Participants must provide sworn verification from their volunteer organization's chief or presiding officer confirming active membership in good standing
