Extends the deadline for municipalities to submit midpoint status reports on affordable housing compliance by one additional year beyond the original midpoint of their certification period

Modifies the Fair Housing Act (P.L.1985, c.222) to provide relief for municipalities required to demonstrate progress on housing element and fair share plan implementation

Addresses delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which slowed both the economy and municipal government operations

Applies to municipalities with midpoint realistic opportunity reviews due, including many originally scheduled for July 1, 2020

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
