Increases daily juror compensation from $5 to $40 per day for both grand and petit jurors in New Jersey courts, effective immediately upon the first day of service

Eliminates the current tiered payment system that provided an additional $35 per day only after three consecutive days of service

Excludes certain full-time government employees who are compensated separately under N.J.S.2B:20-16

Appropriates $6,000,000 from the General Fund to the Administrative Office of the Courts to implement the increased pay rate

Requires Assignment Judges to designate payment methods and provide jurors with statements documenting days served and fees owed
