Department of Children and Families must establish and maintain a statewide evidence-based treatment program for children and family members exposed to domestic violence

DCF will provide grants to providers for developing and implementing therapeutic treatment, counseling, and supportive services for affected children and families

DCF must assign staff to develop implementation strategies and monitor participating organizations' records on service levels, referral activity, and program management

Annual reporting to the Governor and Legislature required, including data on counties/municipalities implementing the program, number of participants, and program effectiveness

Funding will be appropriated from the General Fund through general or supplemental appropriation acts
