Permanently designates August 17th of each year as "Nonprofit Day" in New Jersey to recognize nonprofit organizations and their community service efforts

Requires the Governor to annually issue a proclamation calling upon public officials and citizens to observe the day with appropriate programs and activities

Recognizes that over 40,000 nonprofit organizations operate in New Jersey, employing approximately 330,000 residents (nearly 10% of the state's private sector workforce)

Acknowledges that 1.8 million New Jersey residents volunteer for nonprofits annually, contributing over 225 million hours of service valued at $5.3 billion per year

Joins a national movement already observing August 17th as "Nonprofit Day" across the United States
