Designates July 30 annually as "Brian Sicknick Day" in New Jersey to honor U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who died in the line of duty on January 6, 2021

Officer Sicknick was born July 30, 1978 in New Brunswick, NJ, graduated from Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School in 1996, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from University of Phoenix in 2013

Sicknick served in the New Jersey Air National Guard from 1997-2003, deploying to Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan before being honorably discharged

Sicknick joined the U.S. Capitol Police in July 2008 and served over 12 years, including on the First Responders Unit and mountain bike unit

Requests the Governor issue an annual proclamation recognizing "Brian Sicknick Day"
