Recognizes New Jersey as home to the second-largest Ecuadorian immigrant population in the United States, with 237,532 residents comprising nearly 3% of the state's population

Notes that Essex County and Hudson County have the second and third largest Ecuadorian immigrant populations by county nationwide

Requests the Governor issue an annual proclamation calling upon public officials and citizens to observe Ecuador Day with appropriate programs and activities
