Designates July of each year as "Uterine Fibroid Awareness Month" in New Jersey to increase public awareness of the condition and promote research into diagnosis and treatments

Requests the Governor to annually issue a proclamation recognizing the month and calls upon public officials and citizens to observe it with appropriate activities and programs

Highlights that an estimated 26 million women ages 15-50 in the U.S. have uterine fibroids, with 20-50% of reproductive-age women currently affected and up to 77% developing fibroids before menopause

Notes significant racial disparities, with over 80% of Black women and about 70% of White women developing fibroids by menopause, and Black patients experiencing more severe symptoms and higher rates of hospitalization

Emphasizes that uterine fibroids are the leading cause of gynecological-related hospitalization and the most common reason for hysterectomies, accounting for 39% of hysterectomies annually
