Formally condemns all forms of hatred, hate-based violence, incitements to violence, and discrimination targeting individuals based on race, religion, ethnicity, disability, age, marriage, familial status, gender, or sexual orientation

Recognizes New Jersey's diverse population as a source of strength while acknowledging an alarming increase in hate and bias crimes in recent years

Calls on the Governor and Attorney General to continue providing assistance to hate crime victims, enhance reporting systems, pursue prosecutions, and improve security at religious institutions and targeted communities

Encourages ongoing research and development of new methods to understand and combat hatred and bias crimes statewide

References existing state efforts including the 2022 Summit on Combatting Bias, Hate, and Violence, the Youth Bias Task Force report, and the Bias Crime Unit within the Division of Criminal Justice
