Designates July 22 of each year as "Fragile X Awareness Day" in New Jersey to promote awareness and improve diagnosis, treatment, and scientific research of Fragile X-associated Disorders (FXD)

Requires the Governor to annually issue a proclamation calling upon public officials and citizens to observe the day with appropriate programs and activities

Recognizes that approximately one million Americans carry the Fragile X mutation, which causes three genetic conditions: Fragile X Syndrome, Fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS), and Fragile X-associated primary ovarian insufficiency (FXPOI)

Notes that Fragile X Syndrome is the most common form of inherited intellectual disability in males and the most common known genetic cause of autism

Acknowledges that while the gene mutation causing these disorders is known, there is currently no cure for any of the three conditions
