Removes the statutory prohibition that prevents retired judges from practicing law before New Jersey state courts while receiving pension or retirement benefits from the Judicial Retirement System

Amends P.L.1973, c.140 (C.43:6A-13) by deleting subsection (a), which currently bars retired judicial system members from legal practice while collecting retirement allowances

Preserves existing provisions allowing retired justices and judges to be recalled for temporary judicial service with their consent, subject to Supreme Court rules

Maintains compensation limits for recalled judges, ensuring combined pension and per diem pay does not exceed current salary of active judges at their former court level

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
