Requires law enforcement to check immigration status with the Department of Homeland Security when arresting individuals charged with indictable crimes (first through fourth degree), motor vehicle violations causing bodily injury, or federal aggravated felonies, serious criminal offenses, and crimes of violence.

Creates a rebuttable presumption of pretrial detention for undocumented immigrants arrested for covered offenses, overriding standard bail reform provisions unless the defendant provides clear and convincing evidence otherwise.

Mandates law enforcement compliance with immigration detainer requests from DHS and authorizes local agencies to enter voluntary agreements with federal authorities to provide immigration enforcement services under 8 U.S.C. §1357(g).

Exempts DACA recipients, asylum seekers, refugees, victims of trafficking or domestic violence, and those with temporary protected status from the bill's provisions.

Repeals P.L.2021, c.199 (which banned state prisons and jails from serving as immigration detention facilities) and requires the Attorney General to rescind the "Immigrant Trust Directive" and any inconsistent policies.
