Requires the NJ Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development to include in its annual report a pre-training and post-training analysis comparing workers' employment status and wage rates before training to outcomes during the first, second, and third fiscal years after training ends

Employees participating in Basic Skills Training Program must agree to provide their employment status and wage rate information needed for the consortium's annual report

Current annual reporting already includes total workers trained, funds expended, number of classes by training area and college location, wage ranges, job titles, and pre/post-training assessments

The enhanced reporting requirements aim to help policymakers and the business community evaluate the long-term effectiveness of basic skills training on worker outcomes

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
