NJ S1125

Expands eligible uses of the 9-1-1 System and Emergency Response Trust Fund Account to include costs incurred by counties and municipalities for provision and maintenance of 9-1-1 emergency services, including emergency response training, operating expenses, and capital expenses.

Establishes a prioritized distribution system where funds go first to county, regionalized, or large centralized public safety answering points, with remaining funds distributed to other local public safety answering points.

Requires the Attorney General to promulgate rules and regulations for allocating trust fund monies to county, regional, and municipal public safety answering points.

Amends P.L.2004, c.48 (C.52:17C-19) and takes effect immediately upon enactment.
