Establishes a four-year "VETeach Pilot Program" in the Department of Education to address teacher shortages by facilitating certification of military veterans

Up to four public four-year colleges may participate, enrolling veterans who served on or after September 11, 2001 in a 36-month teacher preparation program

Program leads to a baccalaureate degree and certificate of eligibility with advanced standing, authorizing graduates to teach kindergarten through grade 8 and certain secondary education subjects

Commissioner of Education must report to the Governor and Legislature upon program conclusion on veteran enrollment, hiring outcomes, and recommendations for permanent program establishment
