School districts must distribute State aid for nonpublic school nursing services directly to the individual nurse providing the services, rather than through the school district, when specific documentation conditions are met

Nonpublic schools must provide documentation of the nurse's valid New Jersey State Board of Nursing license, actual hours worked, and submit an attestation form agreeing to assume liability if the nurse is found to be unlicensed

Districts with existing 2020-2021 nursing service agreements are exempt; the requirements apply to new or renewed agreements starting with the 2021-2022 school year and beyond

Nonpublic schools must notify the school district of their intention to meet the documentation conditions before renewing or entering into a new nursing services agreement

School districts retain the ability to use a portion of the State aid funds for administrative purposes related to nonpublic school nursing services
