Requires nonpublic schools (private K-12 schools) in New Jersey to provide student disciplinary records to public school districts upon written request when a student transfers to a public school

Nonpublic schools must also notify the receiving district of any information obtained from courts, law enforcement, or prosecuting agencies regarding offenses the student may have been charged with

Parental or adult student consent is not required for the transfer of disciplinary records, though the nonpublic school must provide written notice of the transfer to the parent or adult student

Receiving public school districts must use every available means to obtain the records if they are not received from the nonpublic school

Extends to nonpublic-to-public school transfers a similar records transfer procedure that already exists for public-to-public school transfers under current New Jersey law
