Creates an alternative teacher certification pathway for candidates holding Montessori teaching credentials from the American Montessori Society, Association Montessori Internationale, or Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education-accredited institutions

Applies to candidates seeking preschool through grade 3 endorsement or elementary school (kindergarten through grade 6) endorsement who also hold a bachelor's degree and meet applicable test requirements

Waives standard certification requirements including 50 hours of pre-professional experience, 350 hours of post-employment coursework (for K-6), and 24 post-employment credits (for PreK-3)

Requires completion of a Montessori teacher preparation program with minimum 200 academic hours and 400 practicum hours in lieu of State-approved educator preparation program

Directs the State Board of Examiners to issue certificates of eligibility to qualifying candidates and requires the State Board of Education to promulgate implementing regulations
