Requires the Commissioner of Community Affairs to provide written notification to the municipal clerk and mayor when an application is received for a Class F license to operate a cooperative sober living residence in their municipality

Notification must be sent "as soon as practicable" following receipt of the license application

Amends the existing Rooming and Boarding House Act of 1979 (P.L.1979, c.496) to add this municipal notification requirement

Applies specifically to cooperative sober living residences, which provide housing for individuals in addiction recovery

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
