Amends New Jersey law (P.L.2001, c.39) to create a civil liability exception for casinos and simulcast facilities when their actions toward self-excluded persons constitute reckless indifference or intentional misconduct

Current law provides complete immunity to casinos and employees from liability for failing to withhold gaming privileges from self-excluded persons or permitting them to gamble

Casinos and employees could now face lawsuits for monetary or other harm if they knowingly or recklessly allow self-excluded individuals to gamble, receive targeted mailings, access credit, or obtain complimentaries

The New Jersey Casino Self-Exclusion Program, established in 2001 and expanded to include internet gaming in 2013, allows individuals to voluntarily ban themselves from all Atlantic City casinos
