Students who have previously earned an associate degree, college credits, or participated in dual enrollment/dual degree programs while in high school will now be explicitly eligible for Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) grants

Students with prior college credits or associate degrees cannot be excluded from participating in campus-based EOF programs at any New Jersey institution of higher education

Standard EOF eligibility requirements still apply: 12 months of New Jersey residency, enrollment in an approved degree or study program, demonstrated financial need, and compliance with board regulations

The bill takes effect immediately and applies starting with the first full academic year following enactment
