Requires New Jersey public school boards to provide age-appropriate instruction on reading and writing cursive for students in grades kindergarten through five

Students must be able to read cursive documents and write in cursive by the end of grade three

Instruction must include learning activities and resources designed to achieve cursive proficiency

Takes effect immediately and applies to the first full school year following enactment
