New Jersey Maternal and Infant Health Innovation Authority must establish a public awareness campaign about the benefits of doula and midwife services, subject to available funding

Campaign must describe person-centered support services during prenatal, birthing, and postpartum periods, culturally competent care, and health benefits/improved outcomes from doula and midwife services

Educational materials must be made available in multiple languages beyond those required by state law and distributed through health agencies, clinics, WIC offices, pharmacies, Planned Parenthood, and community organizations

Campaign must include information about free or low-cost resources, including NJ FamilyCare coverage of doula and midwife services for pregnant, birthing, and postpartum enrollees

Takes effect July 1, 2027
