The officer must coordinate all audits, investigations, and reviews to avoid duplication, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with state and national professional standards.

Required to meet with supervised officers at least twice annually and submit periodic reports to the Governor plus an annual public report to the Governor and Legislature.
