Prohibits county prosecutors, assistant prosecutors, and legal assistants with indictment authority from running for or holding elective office for three years after leaving their positions

Extends the same three-year post-service ban to the Attorney General, First Assistant Attorney General, and other Attorney General staff with indictment authority

Bars all covered officials from holding political party positions, endorsing candidates, or distributing campaign materials while serving in their prosecutorial or investigative roles

Increases the post-service political activity ban for State Commission of Investigation members from one year to three years

Takes effect 180 days after enactment and applies only to officials serving on or after the effective date; does not apply to municipal prosecutors
